Honeycombs for several applications

Alveoplast is the name of the innovative plant for extrusion and calendering developed by Comerio Ercole (stand A 61, hall 11, at Plast 2015). It is equipped with 3 special extruders and a 6-roll calender for producing structural composite honeycombs suitable for several applications.

The products, with a width up to 1250 mm and a thickness from 10 to 25 mm, feature particular isotropic characteristics as well as properties of acoustic and thermal insulation and of vibration absorption. On May 8, during the Milanese exhibition fair, the plant is displayed at the manufacturer laboratory in Gallarate (Varese, Italy), reachable by a shuttle service.
