Complex parts with the new large freeformer

At K 2022 the German manufacturer Arburg exhibited the new large freeformer 750-3X with a larger build chamber for industrial additive manufacturing. The machine can work three components using Arburg Plastic Freeforming (APF) process to produce complex functional parts in resilient hard/soft materials with resistant structure support.

The designation 750 stands for the available part carrier surface area in square centimetres. Compared to the freeformer 300-3X, the build chamber now provides 250% more space for parts measuring up to 330 x 230 x 230 mm. 3X stands for the three axes of the part carrier that can be moved in the X, Y and Z directions.
