Control for conveyance of granules

The conveyance of plastics granules by vacuum is considered simple and with no technical content. Actually, the granules present different characteristics which affect the conveyance itself and result in different behaviour for each kind of granule.
Starting from this consideration, Moretto has developed KruiseKontrol, a new system to optimize the conveyance parameters. The user selects the material to be conveyed and the machine to be fed, thus generating the most suitable profile of parameters for each material. In this way the appropriate speed for each polymer can be managed inside the ducts without damaging it and producing no dust. Moreover the system eliminates any granule defects due to friction with the ducts themselves.
Each material thus can have a dedicated profile, disregarding the conveyance length, which is also optimized according to the machine to be fed. Kruise Kontrol also ensures, in addition to the complete absence of dust and less wear of the ducts, the removal of the so-called "angel hair". The system can manage different zones of a conveying plant by a single vacuum generator.
