Electric blow

During an open house held at Meccanoplastica, headquartered in Campi Bisenzio (Florence, Italy), from September 21 to 24, a 2-stage electric stretch-blow moulding machine for PET preforms was in operation. The machine was equipped with a single-cavity mould for the production of 2.5-litre containers. It is the result of a cooperative effort involving Meccanoplastica, its associate Meccanoplastica Iberica, based in Barcelona, and Comeel, a recently acquired manufacturer of ancillary equipment for blow moulding machines.
