Reinforced strands

Cutters made by Adler Srl of Bassano (Varese, Italy) can work in-line with the extruder to granulate "strands" made of a wide range of thermoplastics and, in particular, with polymers filled with up to 50% of glass fibres, achieving an output rate of up to 2,500 kg/hr.
Two independent motors make it possible to choose the length of the granules. One moves the cutter, the other the feed roller, thus making it possible to adjust feed steps from 0.5 to 10 mm via an electric selector.
