From Italy to the world
Data on Italian imports/exports of plastic products for the first months of 2011 highlight a surge in the overall value of Italian exports (+11% over the same period in 2010) and imports, whose value increased by 13%, although we must keep in mind that the total for exports is almost twice that for imports.
Also worthy of note is the positive trend in exports to Germany (+18%), which ranks first among destination markets, while exports to France, the second ranked, have remained substantially stable.
