Climate-friendly tyres

On Monday, 23 January 2012, during "Sustainability Day" in the Bicocca district of Milan, Pirelli signed a voluntary agreement with the Ministry of the Environment to reduce the impact on the climate deriving from the production and use of its tyres.
The agreement testifies to the environmental commitment of the Italian company, which applies its own in-house technologies to develop production systems and products that reduce environmental impact while ensuring quality and safety to the consumer. Pirelli is thus able to constantly enhance its efficiency, bringing economic and other major benefits, and gain further competitive leverage on the international markets, especially in those where safety, quality and low environmental impact are imposed by law and valued by consumers.
