Right light,perfect colours

X-Rite presented the new SpectraLightQC lighting booth and the new hand-held RM200QC spectrocolorimeter at a press conference last 19 October in Milan, Italy. In applications where colour management is a critical factor, such as in plastics processing, it is vital to have the right lighting conditions to carry out visual inspection of production samples in order to reduce time-to-market and discards. Particular importance is thus given to reducing unacceptable samples from different production facilities by ensuring uniform lighting and sample inspection conditions.
The new lighting booth was developed precisely for this purpose. It has been designed to minimize human error by standardizing visual inspection conditions, and ultimately to save time and money while ensuring that suppliers are able to provide their customers with optimum products.
The spectrocolorimeter features an extremely compact size, making it a very practical and economical instrument for measuring and communicating differences in colour between standard samples and finished products.
