Multiple "V" cuts

To perform precision "V" cuts on PVC coated panels, equipment maker Zaffaroni offers the SMT work station, available in widths from 2500 to 4000 mm and with special tools dedicated for different final applications (hi-fi speakers, furniture, interior decoration products etc.).
The machine is equipped with a manual system for preloading the panels, which are then automatically fed onto the milling table, thereby assuring a continuous work cycle, without idle time. The ground work table, which runs along tracks anchored to the sides of the machine, has (fixed or removable) supports that can be positioned using the rack, for anchoring the panel being worked.
The anchoring devices can be of two types: negative pressure - suitable for panels without grooves - with a high suction pressure pump and vacuum chambers, adjustable as a function of the part size; with sets of movable rubber wheels - more suitable for panels with grooves, such as those used in making drawers - which exert a mechanical pressure on the part. The heads can perform the V cut at an adjustable angle (with motors manually positioned from 90° to 45°) or at 90° (with two fixed motors at 45°). At the end of the milling a part lifting system frees the table, allowing it to quickly return to the loading position.
