This is what emerges from the official figures released by the organizer Adsale Exhibition Services. During the 4 days of fair, Chinaplas (Shanghai, April 23-26) has been visited by 130,370 people, that means an increase by 14,26% in comparison with the former edition of Guangzhou. Overseas visitors resulted 36,841 (over 28% of the total), coming from 143 countries.
"We are happy with the results of the show and have received very positive feedbacks from both our exhibitors and visitors. The continuous rise of overseas visitors reflects our show is gaining recognition from around the world, as an effective platform for industrial sourcing and for getting the latest information on market trends and technology. Furthermore, many cost-effective solutions can be found at the show with the large participation of the Chinese and Asian exhibitors in addition to the Europeans. What they see, find and get from Chinaplas can support their changing needs of their business and enable them to stay competitive", stated Ada Leung, assistant general manager at Adsale Exhibition Services.
Besides, Chinaplas also marks the new records in terms of exhibition scale and number of exhibitors participated. This year, over 3,000 exhibitors from 39 countries and regions participated in the show, of which over 400 are new to the show, on a total exhibition area over 220,000 sqm. Assocomaplast (the Italian plastics and rubber processing machinery and moulds manufacturers' association) took part at the fair coordinating the participation of over 50 Italian companies. Moreover, the association has distributed informative material about the plastics and rubber Italian industry, the catalogue of the Italian exhibitors attending the fair, the special magazine MacPlas International at Chinaplas 2014, issued in Chinese, and information about the coming edition of Plast 2015 (Milan, Italy, May 5-9, 2015).
