Efficiency trebled for ceiling panels

A line for the contemporary extrusion of three PVC profiles for ceiling panels was recently created by Bausano. This line is the fruit of 30 years’ experience of the company in the development of production systems for profiles used in the construction industry and the continuous research that distinguishes its activity. This solution is designed to meet the most pressing demands of the market: reduction of production costs; faster time to market; weight per linear metre as low as possible; perfect maintenance of dimensional characteristics.

PVC ceiling panels are products that are widely used, especially in South America, thanks to their characteristics and ease of use. The innovative feature of Bausano solution consists in the use of a triple extrusion line that uses the entire capacity already expressed by twin screw extruder MD 75/30 in order to produce very thin profiles which are lighter and cheaper, but with an extrusion rate at the top of its category thanks to the simultaneous extrusion of three profiles. With this type of line it is possible to obtain extrusion rates up to 20 m/min for profiles with a weight per linear metre of 0.3 kg.
