Uniloy Milacron, based in Magenta (Milan), introduced at PLAST 2012 the EnergiaZero UMS 200 D (dual carriage) shuttle extrusion-blow moulding machine with 20-ton clamping force and 710-mm carriage stroke. The machine can be equipped with moulds of up to 12 cavities and 55-mm centre distance and can be configured to coextrude up to 7 layers.
Designed for In-Mould Labelling (IML) on both sides of the container, also in the dual carriage version, at the fair the machine produced 4-litre containers with transparent level strip for lubricating oil with a 23-sec cycle time.
