Until March 15 a new multilayer blown film production line featuring a width of 2200 mm and a net output rate of 750 kg/hour will be on display at the Dolci Extrusion factory in Biassono (Monza Brianza, Italy). The line is equipped with three extruders, one with a diameter of 105 mm and the other two with a diameter of 65 mm (all of them with L/D ratio = 30) for the production of the middle and the outer layers of the film, respectively. The line is rounded off by a high-precision continuous gravimetric feeder, including three stations for each extruder, water-cooled vector drives and an energy-saving IR heating system. A nickel-plated "multi-split" head is also integrated.
The high-efficiency IBC system features a new "easy change" software, which is particularly useful for changing job or the film size, or at the system start-up, while the automatic "Dolci flow" cooling ring ensures minimum tolerance lower than 3%. The oscillating nipping section, equipped with an automatic gusseting device, features a width of 2400 mm, also enabling the production of shrink films. The "Easy thread" system makes it easier to thread-in the material when starting the production process. Finally, the new 2200 mm-wide SXO Magnum winder, equipped with a tensioning device, allows the production of film rolls with diameters up to 1000 mm.
