Italian machines growing in Russia
A member of the Creon Group, Inventra organised a convention in Moscow on November 23 to highlight the needs and expectations of local industry in processing plastic and examine the current state of the technology in highest demand and operation standards in Russia. As part of the event, Assocomaplast also made a presentation providing information on the trend of Italian exports of plastic and rubber machines and moulds to Russia.
According to statistics, in the first half of 2012 Russia was the third largest destination country for Italian industry exports, generating values which are expected to reach the pre-crisis levels of 2008. The share of exports rose from 4.6% in 2011 to 5.5% in the first half of 2012 alone, confirming a sharply upward trend in the interest for Italian products in the local industry. The most exported technologies to Russia include extrusion and blow moulding machinery.
