Mech-I-Tronic integrates Colamark and strengthens in pharmaceutical packaging
The global leader in the design and production of custom mechatronic solutions for pharmaceutical, cosmetics and packaging sectors uniting highly specialized brands such as CB Automation, Neyret Group, Union, Tecom, Alci, SMP and Ermo, Mech-I-Tronic announced the acquisition of Colamark, a company based in Guangzhou, China, specialized in the development and production of automatic machines and complete lines for industrial automation in the pharmaceutical sector, including labelling, counting and serialization.
Colamark is recognized as one of the most technologically advanced companies in its segment, with a strong positioning in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors. The company has developed award-winning proprietary technologies, including particle counting and inspection systems for quality control and ultra-high-precision, high-efficiency assembly solutions now adopted by leading international industrial players. In 2024, the company recorded revenues of approximately 17 million euros.
With Colamark joining the Group, Mech-I-Tronic accelerates its ability to deliver end-to-end, customer-specific solutions that combine precision engineering, advanced electronics. This integration reinforces the Group’s commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable development, supporting global customers in the pharmaceutical and medical industries with increasingly integrated automation needs.
By combining complementary strengths, Mech-I-Tronic and Colamark will create immediate synergies in delivering complete pharmaceutical packaging lines, from core packaging modules to inspection, serialization and aggregation. The Group’s decentralized footprint will further enhance speed of execution, enabling rapid delivery of systems and services to global customers across regions.
