The platinum medal of EcoVadis to Lati

Lati Industria Termoplastici has been awarded the platinum medal by EcoVadis, the company's highest award for sustainability, placing it in the top 1% of the world's best companies in the plastics sector. Since 2014, Lati has been measuring and continuously improving its sustainability performance according to the EcoVadis ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) rating platform, one of the most authoritative internationally.

EcoVadis assesses companies in four macro areas: environment, labour practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement, and awards a score from 0 to 100. In addition to the overall score, companies receive a detailed scorecard with specific guidance to identify further opportunities for improvement.

In 2021, the company was awarded a gold medal with a score of 68/100, making it one of the most virtuous companies in its sector. In 2023, thanks to a continuous effort to improve its internal practices, it had further improved its score to 73/100. Today, with a platinum medal and a score of 83/100, Lati is among the world's elite in the industry, in the top 1% of global companies with the best sustainability performance. The company maintained its high score in the environmental area but made significant improvements in social areas such as human rights and ethics, demonstrating a strong commitment to socially and environmentally responsible practices.
