2024 is an important year for Tria, which is celebrating 70 years in business. Indeed, it was 1954 when Angelo Anceschi (pictured on the right) and his son Sergio designed their first blade granulators, thus starting the company.

The new company grew steadily from the outset, becoming specialised in the construction of systems for the dimensional reduction of plastic scraps and waste. The third generation, in the persons of Sergio’s sons Luciano, Marco and Claudio, came on board at the end of the 1980s, introducing innovative new technologies and adopting a more managerial approach to the company, headquartered in Cologno Monzese (Milan, Italy). Those were also the years that brought the opening of the first the first branches abroad, and the first partnerships with European and American companies.
