Pre-K 2010 tour: second step

The pre-K 2010 Italian tour continued on July 29 with two further visits - Dolci Extrusion/Bielloni Converting (Biassono, Milan) in the morning, and Colines (Nibbia, Novara) in the afternoon. The event organized by Assocomaplast aimed at providing the international technical press with a survey of the state-of-the-art of Italian industry and some previews of innovations introduced by Italian manufacturers at Düsseldorf.
The first company, which expects to close the year with a 5% increase in turnover, will attend K 2010 with 3 Dolci Extrusion machines and one Bielloni Converting line. Two cast lines will produce 5-layer stretch film (at a 1,150-kg hourly output by 4 extruders) and 3-layer stretch film (at a 800-kg hourly output by 3 extruders), respectively. The third machine, belonging to the "pancake" technology range, will produce 5-layer blown film at a 600-kg hourly output. The fourth plant will be a FSC flexoprinting press of the Telia range (600 m/min).
Colines will split in two during the K 2010 days. At the show the company will present a Triple Handrollex plant operating at 700 m/min and 800-kg/h output; equipped with 3 extruders it will produce 3-layer stretch film to be wound-up in "jumbo", automatic or manual reels. A Jumborollex line will also be in operation during these days at the Nibbia factory, running at 700 m/min for a 2,000-mm wide film. This line will be equipped with a layer multiplier system for films with up to 40 micro-layers.
