China and Brazil are the leading destination countries of plastics and rubber machinery made by the main worldwide competitors.Italian manufacturers' exports to China grew by 68% last June with respect to 30.6.2009, exceeding 60 million euro. On the other hand, good performance was also achieved by Japan (+30%) and Germany (+19%).The situation is similar in Brazil. During the first half of the current year, demand by local processors principally regarded injection moulding machines and the main providers showing growth were China (accounting for almost 27 million euro), Germany (about 11) and Taiwan (over 6). The strong recovery (+90% for a total value close to 46 million euro) of Italian exports to Brazil is mainly due to increased sales of blow moulding machines, closely followed by injection moulding machines.
