Specialty compoundin China

A new specialty polymers compounding plant will be realized by Solvay at its site in Changshu (China). The new structure will require an investment of 21 million euro and the start-up is expected in the last quarter of 2012. The compounding plant will serve the fast growing markets in China for electronics, automotive, consumer and industrial applications and will initially start producing compounds of PPA (Amodel range), polyarylamide (Ixef) and modified polyarylamide (Kalix).
