In the shadow of the pyramids

Nearly 120 participants attended the Italo-Egyptian conference organized on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 by the Italian Trade Commission in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade and Assocomaplast (Italian plastics and rubber machinery manufacturers association). The topic of the conference was "Italian technologies for energy saving in plastics processing".
The program also included a speech by an Assocomaplast officer on the development of the Italian plastics and rubber machinery industry, which is capable of providing innovative plants in terms of energy savings and suitable for producing components used for renewable energies devices (wind blades, solar panels, etc.). Moreover, an independent speaker appointed by the Italian Association gave a presentation about technologies and actions for saving energy and reducing waste, with particular reference to injection moulding processes.
