Safe roll mixers

The working group of the CEN/TC 145 technical committee has recently started the revision of the EN1417:1996 harmonized standard related to safety devices for roll mixers in the plastics and rubber industry.
Representatives from companies, institutes and associations of four European countries, amongst which the delegates from Pirelli and Michelin, are cooperating in the revision activity coordinated by Assocomaplast (Italian plastics & rubber processing machinery and moulds' manufacturers association).
