In-mould foaming

MuCell technology was the subject of two days of demonstrations (23-24 November) in the Engel training centre in Schwertberg, Austria. This technology makes it possible to expand the melt in the mould using inert gases and offers a number of advantages: reduction of product weight, lower clamping force for the same product, excellent dimensional stability, reduction of deformation and shrinkage.
