New team takes the helm at the BPF

Philip Law, BPF's new director-general took the helm of the BPF (the British Plastics Federation) on the retirement of Peter Davis on 1st July. Darren Muir replaces finance and administration director, Alan Davey, who also has retired. Stephen Hunt became membership services director and Sarah Plant, public and industrial affairs manager.
BPF president Mike Boswell paid tribute to the massive contributions both Peter Davis and Alan Davey had registered for the BPF. "Peter has carried the profile of the organisation to great political heights, most recently witnessed in the personal letter sent to him by David Cameron", he said and added that "Alan Davey has been a most effective steward of the BPF's finances. Alan largely set up BPF energy which paved the way for an expansion of BPF membership".
