Sheet extrusion lines

Two extrusion lines are being completed at the AMU factory in Marano Ticino (Novara, Italy) for two Italian processors.
The first has been developed for producing PET or PP multilayer sheets for thermoforming food containers and features a main extruder for PET processing without pre-treatment. The plant is suitable to obtain 1,000-mm wide sheets with thickness from 0.2 to 1.2 mm and ensures an output of up to 1,000 kg/h.
The second line has been built to produce transparent, matt or opaline sheets made of PS or acrylic material for applications in panels, furniture, DIY etc. The 1,000-mm sheet with thickness from 1,8 to 5 mm can be cut in lengths from 250 to 2,500 mm; for this purpose, the line is fitted with a saw-disc cutting unit and an automatic stacking system with suckers.
