Pipe jointing with welding overlay

The PE and PP pipe jointing technology with welding overlay developed by Primac has been now enhanced and relaunched by Baruffaldi Plastic Technology.
This technology is particularly advantageous because it allows pipes with inner diameter from 200 mm and outer diameter of up to 1200 mm to be jointed whatever their length, by welding on them plastic couplings obtained with injection moulding or rotational moulding techniques. This method guarantees high mechanical strength, avoiding any distortion along the cross section of the pipe. In addition, it prevents possible slowdown on the extrusion line as well as production rejects.
Baruffaldi Plastic Technology took over this long-standing brand and technology from Primac in early 2012, as a result including manufacturing machinery for PVC and polyolefin-based pipes in its product range.
