A polyamide yarn recycling plant
A manufacturer headquartered in Cerro Maggiore (near Milan), Comac recently delivered 6 and 66 polyamide yarn recycling plant to a company in Piedmont.
The line is based on the new model EBC108HT 108-mm co-rotating twin screw extruder with an L/D ratio of 48/1, driven by a 600 kW alternating current motor. The plant also offers special forced feeding with automatic loading of scrap, a vacuum side loader for better degassing of the product being processed and a submersed die-face cutter.
The plant can reach a production rate of about 1000 kg, depending on the characteristics of the yarn to be regenerated.
